The annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival in Lake Worth, Florida reached it's 17th Anniversary the weekend of February 26 & 27, 2011. The streets in downtown Lake Worth are blocked off for 2 days and the chalk paintings stay on the streets until rain or car traffic wear them away. The weather both days was perfect and attendance was estimated at over 100,000 visitors for this free festival. Drawings ranged from 2' x 3' to 10' x 20' with most being in the 5' x 7' size.
